What is Kaara and how does it work?
Kaara is an online payment platform that allows you to do your FX conversions, local and international payments all from your virtual card conveniently.
What are the requirements to register an account on Kaara?
To register on the Kaara platform you need
- A valid email
- Active phone number
How do I convert the funds on my naira virtual card to Dollar or my Dollar virtual card to Naira?
First you have to fund your naira virtual card or Dollar virtual card via your local bank card then convert to dollar ($) or Naira using the Kaara exchange features at a certain rate and charges.
What is the highest amount of transaction I can carry out in a day?
Currently, the highest amount per transaction is $5,000 however you can have series of transaction in a day each not more than $5,000 per transaction.
How do I change or reset my password?
If a user cannot remember or is unsure of his password the user can reset it by clicking on the "forgot password icon"
Does Kaara have a physical office I can visit?

Can a third party fund my virtual card?
Yes! You can have a third party fund your virtual card via a Bank card but that can only be done with the authorization of the third party.
What do I need to do in case of a failed transaction?
In case of a failed transaction simply contact our help desk on firstname.lastname@example.org providing details such as reference ID for the particular transaction for proper investigation, follow up and possible reversal.
Why can't I sign in to my Kaara account?
If a user gets locked out of an account the user can contact email@example.com for technical support to retrieving the account back.
Is there a restriction to certain sites I can use my Kaara card?
Kaara virtual card can be used on all sites that accepts prepaid card payment,
Is it possible to cancel or retract a transaction still under process?
Kaara currently operates an instant payment system, in a case where the sender decides otherwise about the payments, there's currently a structure in place to reverse transactions done in # which may take up to 48hrs depending on the bank action. We are currently working on making the reversal options available for other currencies.
Yes! Kaara will never share or sell your personal data to third parties. We only use your personal data to improve your experience with Kaara products and services.
Does my recipients needs to have a Kaara account before I can transact with them?
No! You can make payments directly from your Kaara account to your recipients local or international bank account, they do not need to have a Kaara account but having a Kaara account makes the payment receipt a lot faster.
Is there an activation fee attached to using a Kaara account?
Creating an account on Kaara is absolutely free however, creating a naira virtual card attracts a #1,000 issuance fee while a dollar virtual card attracts a $2 issuance fee.
